Managed Investment Program®

Product Overview

Some people want help with managing investments outside their workplace retirement plan account. Creating a personal investment plan can seem difficult, so they retain professional money managers to help manage their investments.

If this is something you’re considering, you can easily access this service from AIG Retirement Advisors, Inc. (ARA). In our Managed Investment Program (MIP), independent money managers design and manage your personal portfolio. This single source for personalized investing includes investment advice, professional portfolio management and consolidated record keeping. MIP is a fee based service.

You will receive an investment strategy based on your investment goals, time horizon and investment risk tolerance. Using a personalized evaluation of your unique needs, the MIP can produce a portfolio designed just for you.

Once implemented, your portfolio will be continuously monitored. The portfolio will be rebalanced periodically to conform to your original asset allocation. To ensure your MIP portfolio meets your investment objectives, your financial advisor will meet with you to review your investment mix and your financial situation, and will discuss modifications if needed.
